EdTech Congress Barcelona 2026 brought together more than 3,000 professionals, 70 international speakers and 60 exhibiting companies on February 4–5 at the Palau de Congressos de Barcelona. Organized by the Edutech Cluster, the event reinforces its position as a leading educational technology conference and strengthens the strategic leadership of the Catalan EdTech ecosystem.

Campus Docent Sant Joan de Déu took the methodological lead of edtecHack at the EdTech Congress Barcelona 2026, a hackathon focused on co-creating solutions for real educational inclusion and transformation challenges. The initiative brought together professionals, students and organizations to collaboratively develop impactful educational proposals.

A student-led collective has published a manifesto titled “For a Responsible Digital Experience”, advocating a thoughtful and value-driven approach to the use of digital technology and artificial intelligence in higher education. Presented within the EdTech Congress Barcelona 2026 context, the document argues that technological adoption in universities must prioritize the lived experiences, needs and agency of students.
