The Edutech Cluster gathered representatives from universities and educational institutions this Wednesday at the Institución Libre de Enseñanza for a new session of its University Focus Group series. Led by Carlos Magro Mazo and Alfonso González Hermoso de Mendoza, the session explored how to improve the university experience in an increasingly digital environment.
Participants addressed challenges and opportunities related to teaching innovation, personalized learning and student well-being, with contributions from institutions such as Universidad Complutense de Madrid, UNIE Universidad, Universidad Camilo José Cela, Universidad Alfonso X el Sabio, Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Universidad de Alcalá, Tecnológico de Monterrey, Universidad Villanueva, UNIFIT, Google for Education and Fundación Cotec.
This meeting is part of the preparation process for the EdTech Congress Barcelona 2026, which will focus on how technology can improve teaching and learning processes across education. The Edutech Cluster expressed its appreciation for the participation and commitment of all attendees, whose contributions support a more innovative, inclusive and student-centered higher education system.
