V-Tools uses virtual reality to raise awareness among young people about bullying and gender violence

Paula Pla,

V-Tools' project uses virtual reality to allow young people to experience firsthand what a victim of bullying, an aggressor, and a bystander feel. Through scenes filmed with 3D technology and a script based on the violence theory of Carmen Ruiz, students experience situations of control and aggression, both subtle and overt. This experience aims to generate empathy and reflection on behaviors related to violence. The start-up is also developing an online platform that will allow access to these experiences autonomously, including pedagogical guides to facilitate their implementation in educational and family settings.
