The EduTech Cluster has visited the facilities of Fundació Mona, a partner entity of the cluster dedicated to the rescue, recovery and well-being of primates from captivity. The visit is part of the series of meetings that the cluster promotes to get closer to the reality of its associated organizations, learn about their projects first-hand and promote new opportunities for collaboration.

During the day, the cluster team was able to tour the foundation's facilities and discover the work they do daily with the fostered primates. Through the stories of each of the animals, attendees were able to understand the impact of their work and the role that education plays as a tool to raise awareness in society about animal welfare and the conservation of biodiversity.

In addition, the Mona Foundation presented its new strategic project, which includes the acquisition of new land and the construction of a new rescue center. This expansion will allow it to increase its reception capacity and continue developing its mission of environmental protection, research and education.

The visit also included the participation of the partners iREAD and Fundació Pere Tarrés, becoming a space for exchanging experiences and generating synergies between entities that share the commitment to promoting projects with a positive impact on society.
