The EduTech Cluster collaborates in the first edition of The CommonTech Room, an initiative promoted by 3ipunt & UNIFIT that was born with the aim of creating a space for reflection, exchange of knowledge and dialogue on one of the great challenges that educational institutions currently face: how to lead increasingly complex digital ecosystems without losing sight of people.
Inspired by the traditional Common Rooms of British universities, where teachers and researchers shared ideas and debated the great challenges of education, The CommonTech Room recovers that spirit to transfer it to the current context of digital transformation. At a time when educational organizations coexist with multiple platforms, tools, digital processes and artificial intelligence, the day proposes stopping to reflect on how to build more coherent, sustainable technological ecosystems focused on people's needs.
The session brings together professionals from universities, educational centers, technology companies and organizations in the sector to share experiences around three main axes: the strategy and governance of digital ecosystems, user experience and the need to build simpler and more integrated technological environments, and change management in a context marked by the constant evolution of technology.
One of the most notable moments of the day is the participatory space in World Café format, dedicated to analyzing how to integrate artificial intelligence in educational institutions with ethical, pedagogical and sustainability criteria. Far from understanding AI as an end in itself, the conversations focus on how to use it to accompany processes, improve the user experience and add value without increasing the complexity of digital ecosystems.
From the EduTech Cluster we continue to support and give visibility to those initiatives that promote the exchange of knowledge, collaboration between organizations and the generation of spaces for reflection on the future of education. Digital transformation requires much more than incorporating new tools: it involves building a shared vision, promoting innovation responsibly and strengthening an ecosystem capable of jointly facing the challenges of the present and the future.
