XIX Edition of the Pedagogical Immersion Course in Finland 2025

The Pedagogical Immersion Course in Finland is a comprehensive learning experience designed for school leaders, teachers, researchers, and education innovation professionals. Over the course of a week, participants will visit schools at different educational levels and innovation centers, allowing them to closely observe the methodologies and strategies that have made the Finnish education system a global benchmark.

The program aims to equip attendees with knowledge and skills that they can apply in their own educational institutions. Through the "Design Thinking" approach, participants will engage in the inspiration phase (understand, observe, and focus) before developing the ideation and implementation phases within their organizations.

Course Program:

The event will take place from October 4 to 10, 2025, and will include:

  • Welcome sessions in Helsinki and a cultural visit to the Oodi Library
  • School visits at different educational levels in Turku and Helsinki
  • Educational innovation and future strategy workshops with international experts
  • Meetings with Finnish teachers, school leaders, and EdTech companies
  • Daily reflections on observed practices and their application in local contexts

Certification and Recognition:

Participants will receive a diploma awarded by the Escalae Chair of Educational Innovation at the University of Málaga and the University of Turku.
