The V International Congress on Teaching Innovation, Education and Knowledge Transfer (CIINECO) constitutes a space for meeting, reflection and debate for teachers and researchers from different disciplines, committed to improving teaching-learning processes in the current educational context. In this fifth edition, the congress proposes a renewed look at teaching innovation, placing at the center the need to unlearn traditional practices, inertias and models in order to generate truly significant learning, connected to the motivation and emotional dimension of students.

Under the subtitle "Unlearning to learn. Motivation and emotion in meaningful learning", CIINECO invites you to reflect on the challenges that teaching faces today in an educational scenario in constant renewal with digital transformations and the educational and social needs of students. Unlearning is not understood here as a renunciation of prior knowledge, but as a critical exercise in reviewing teaching methodologies and dynamics that allows opening space for new ways of teaching and learning, more flexible, participatory and student-centered.
